What I Have Got?
This insight about Hallyu is necessary in this course, in my future career, and as well as in my family and home life. This concept is allow me to understand that it helps a country a lot in term of economy, such as South Korean. I also know about the power of national pride through the Hallyu. Because of the pride on their nation, Korean forces themselves to create things, such as car, technologies, hi-tech products, and as well as movies, drama, and music. They also step by step claim that their culture has an ability to influence other nations by music, drama, and movie.age with my audience.
The Relationship between National Pride and Hallyu
The concept of national pride connects to so many aspects of Korean such as technology, fashion… however, the wave of Hallyu is the most related. Because of the proud about their nation, so the Korean want the world to know about their country’s value, achievements, culture, and daily-life…Thus, Hallyu seems like a bridge that connect the country to the world by music, and dramas. The factor that helped spread out the Korean wave is the similarity with Asia in the culture of gratitude, emotional emphasis, lifestyle saving, simple... Especially this is brought back from the Korean drama, which provide the follower such as the will to rise up, how to express love romantic, how to live independently, passion in the work, how to maintain family order, patience, tolerance. This shows that Korean films have had a strong impact on changing the way of thinking and lifestyle of the youth.
The Koreans believe that when foreigners pay more attention to Korean singers and actors, they will gradually develop a love for Korean products and will buy them. In facts, there are proof that Koreans are right! Because of the pride on their nation, Korean forces themselves to create things, such as car, technologies, hi-tech products, and as well as movies, drama, and music. Furthermore, they not only consume their product inside the country, but they also want the world to use and experience their work, and recognize their achievements.

About the National Pride
National pride is a fundamental value in the traditional values of the peoples of the world. People in a country, small in size, little in population, short in history or poor in many aspects...also have their own pride (Handley 2011). It is because of the pride that that country, that people exist. That is the spiritual support of each member of the community, which is the mysterious bond of the people in the same country, race to create together, cultivate the country immortal and growing. However, the thought is formed sooner or later, dark or light, the specific content, form and level of expression as well as development direction of it depends on the specific historical conditions of each nation.
According to the study on South Korean National Pride, thank to the achievement in technology, sports, history, entertainment, politics, and social welfare systems, the people pride’s is higher than other countries (Chung & Hung 2008). In the 1960s, Korea was one of the poorest countries in Asia. However, after only 20 years, until 1988, South Korea hosted the Seoul Olympics, which no one believed in their eyes when the miracle on the Han River, cars, motorbikes, textile dyes, chemicals, shipbuilding, electronics, confectionery although they have limited human resources. More than just inside the country, they sent Korean go overseas to study and bring the elite of developed countries such as car industry in Germany, movies and drama from Hollywood, or fashion and cosmetic product in Paris, Milano. Consequently, with the unity of government and the people, Korea now is in top 24 wealthy countries in the world. Base on those achievements, Korean is so proud of their nation.

The Korean Wave
With more than 10 years of development, The Korean Wave began with the export of TV dramas such as: Autumn in My Heart, Winter Sonata and Dae Jang Geum throughout East and Southeast Asia.
Along with popular culture, the Hallyu wave has crossed national boundaries, making Korea become a new center for cultural content. It is the resounding success that is the contribution of high quality techniques imported from abroad. Along with that is the combination of traditional cultural values in a harmonious way, it created the unique characteristics, and created Hallyu that developed around the world such as movies, movies, movies, music...
In the past, the Korean Hallyu Wave has only heated up in Asia, but that wave has already surfaced all over the world. Korean stars are growing and becoming very popular. Thanks to that tremendous success, the Hallyu wave is presenting itself as a role of absolute interest in Korean culture. Those made the audience more and more interested in Korea and attract more tourists to visit. The rapid success of Korean dramas led to the popularity of Korean pop culture (K-pop), Korean and Korean cuisine. The word "Han" also refers to the rising economy of Korea and the rise of multinational corporations from the country such as Samsung, LG and Hyundai.
Furthermore, regarding to the study of John Lie, South Korean popular music is oriented to be export, and it makes a change in the economic and also in the traditional of a whole country (Lie 2015). Thank to the Korean entertainment industry, or it can be called as “Korean Wave”, the growth rate in tourist sector is significantly, other business that related to the Korean Wave bring for Korean approximately 4.87 billion per year (Trade Policy 2016). The Korean Wave’s effect is huge, it contributed to 0.2% of Korea's GDP in 2004, conduct $ 1.87 billion. In recently, in 2014, the Korean Wave has estimated an increase of $ 11.6 billion in the Korean economy.
